Unilever changes marketing
Date 02.13.2020 | Category: News
Unilever is drastically changing the way it addresses underage consumers. Unilever Ice Cream is to stop marketing campaigns in traditional media for under 12-year-olds by the end of 2020, while at the same time the group no longer wants to address children under 13 in social media. The use of cartoon characters and corresponding promotional gifts will also be limited.
By the end of 2020, ice cream varieties for children should not contain more than 110 kcal and a maximum of 12 g of sugar per serving. In addition, all children's products will feature a new ‘Responsibly made for kids’ logo.
This action mix will be made against the background of increasing child obesity. For more visit unilever.com
