The DMK Group will present its new products and services for retailers at this year’s international trade fair PLMA, “World of Private Label”. The DMK Private Label and DMK International business units will showcase new methods for private labels and contract manufacturing in Amsterdam (Hall 1, Booth F-5272). With DMK Ice Cream (Hall 1, Booth F-5441) and DOC Dairy Partners (Hall 5, Booth 6064), Germany's largest dairy cooperative will also be demonstrating its expertise in dutch cheese and ice cream to trade visitors.

In keeping with the “From Insights to Dairy Innovation” motto, DMK Private Label will not only be presenting innovative products at PLMA 2019 – it will also be using the trade fair to talk to visitors about exciting insights, visionary opportunities, trends and current topics such as sustainable packaging. Thorsten Rodehüser, COO DMK Private Label, in this context explains: “In order to distinguish themselves in the face of intensified competition, dealers are currently repositioning themselves and their own brands. We support them as a partner with a 360-degree view on product assortments, trends and activation for the markets of the future.” With its comprehensive international trend management system, DMK is not only able to identify international trends at an early stage, but also to determine their relevance for the German market. On this basis private label products can be developed, that perfectly match current consumer needs.

Various extensive consumer and shopper studies provided a clear insight into the German milk and cheese market, but are also consulted in the context of professional category management. “Thus we have created added value that enables us to competently and individually advise dealers on their range of products and to develop tailor-made solutions,” emphasises Rodehüser.

For DMK International, too, this year’s PLMA is all about customer-oriented services in the private label and contract manufacturing sectors. For the international markets in particular, the company will present new products for current trends such as high-protein diets and the continuously increasing demand for lactose-free dairy products at the trade fair. “In context with our new alignment, we focus on international markets where we can realise added value with our know how and service,” explains Michael Feller, COO of DMK International. “We offer our customers a full service that ranges from the product idea through to packaging. This allows them to place their brands in our hands with confidence.”

DMK also has new concepts in the cheese sector. They will be presented at PLMA alongside DOC Dairy Partners. The focus is primarily on aspects such as added value concepts and responding to the demand for ‘regional products’ – especially in markets like the Netherlands.

In the contract manufacturing sector, the company is focusing on individual solutions for non-dairy bottling (such as iced tea or coconut milk). Thanks to innovative technologies, DMK is able to meet almost any requirement here – even for products with varying viscosities.

Having many years of experience and a good sense for trends, DMK Ice Cream has now become one of the top-five industry players in Europe and produces innovations for international and national successful brands, retail customers, and in the co-branding and home services sector. In this context, it is particularly important to create added value for customers through new points of contact with their target group. With ice cream products for brands like MILRAM, Baileys and Bahlsen, DMK has already proved its abilities. For more visit
