On a new course

The supplier of filling machines IMA Dairy & Food has undergone a far-reaching change: at the turn of the year, former Rovema boss Thomas Becker took over 60% of the shares. This means that the business with machines from Hassia, Hamba-Gasti and Erca will again be managed more pragmatically than before. In addition, the aforementioned companies will once again operate independently of each other in the market. IDM reports about the new situation.
In the course of a restructuring Hamba will be released from Gasti and transferred to the Hassia location in Ranstadt, Germany. This will give Hassia an increase in competence by producing not only FFS but also FS machines (Flexline, BK II). In the future, Hamba will also serve the bottling market again. Stickpack machines form a third mainstay. Gasti will continue to exist and will concentrate on its continuously operating filling technology, which is established in the market under the term "Contitherm". As part of the realignment, 40 employees will move to Ranstadt and the holding company in Stutensee will be dissolved.
