F/C reorganise ingredients business

FrieslandCampina‘s Ingredients division is being reorganised. In the new organisation the four individual operating companies DOMO, Kievit, DMV and Nutrifeed will be merged into four strategic segments: Early Life Nutrition, Adult Nutrition, Food & Beverages and Animal Nutrition. The international organisation with 5 regional offices is led by Kathy Fortmann as President of FrieslandCampina Ingredients.
In the new organisation of FrieslandCampina Ingredients, the former operating companies are merged into four strategic segments:
- Early Life Nutrition focuses on feeding babies and young children through food ingredients, including GOS, HMO and hydrolysates.
- Adult Nutrition: this segment focuses on sports and medical nutrition. This includes an extensive range of products with valuable dairy proteins, which provide essential nutrients when people need them most.
- Food & Beverages: This segment serves food and beverage customers such as coffee, milk tea, pastry, decoration, desserts, ice cream, soups and sauces. In addition, the segment contains an extensive range of functional high-protein dairy ingredients.
- Animal Nutrition: This segment focuses on feed for dairy farms.
FrieslandCampina Ingredients reported a revenue of €1.7bn in the financial year 2018 and have 3,250 employees. The new segments have production locations worldwide, with regional sales offices in the Netherlands, the United States, Singapore, China and Brazil.Source: Food HollandAuthor: Sossna
