The Corona crisis is an opportunity for re-thinking
holistically: H2 is the energy of the future!
Corona has left a trace: the economy is shrinking. But nobody should bet
against the power of innovation and the optimism of the international economy
that will recover soon. The world will overcome this pandemic. As we
have observed there are a number of Asian countries that recover faster than
others because they have been thru SARS 2012/13 while European and many other
countries were not well prepared although the knowledge and crisis plans could have
been available. Hopefully, a second or further waves of this pandemic can be prevented
or at least controlled better.
The digitalisation of our economies advances very quickly and we need to understand
that there is no way back.
Further, we need to understand, that Corona is only one consequence of the global
climate change. Biologists have demonstrated only recently that with the ongoing
deforestation and the decline in biodiversity there will be more „generalists“ in Fauna
and Flora. Animals, plants, bacteria and viruses formerly living in complex habitats are
losing their homes and will therefore get closer to us. That increases the risk of viruses
infecting humans. „Wet markets“ in Asia may increase that risk. But remember, we all
We at mcongressconsult/FOOD-Lab International in cooperation with the Climate
Technology Center Bonn have therefore decided to set up a new association with the
aim to inform the food industry and other interested industries about the options and
technologies around the fule cell/H2 (Hydrogen) technology. (page 10). To our view
this technology is a key technology in the foreseeable future for mankind if we want
to suvive and save our planet for the next decades or rather centuries.
Further, this issue of FOOD-Lab International sheds light on a number of modern
technologies for the production and quality control/analytics of foods.
I wish you a nice read.
