Rapid Microbial Methods Reducing the impact of contamination events

New drying plant for Gransee Fude + Serrahn

By the end of September, Fude + Serrahn, very much known as one of the major German milk traders have finally entered large-scale milk processing. At their plant in Gransee, Germany a new drying facility has been taken officially in operation. IDM was there, naturally. Fude + Serrahn (fs-milchprodukte.de) have acquired the Gransee plant in 2006 from bankrupt Parmalat. Since then, F+S have increased capacities by heavy investment. In a first stage, €10m were spent for modernization and increase of processing capacities, the building of an acid curd cheese production and a UHT plant. Only few years later, in early 2009, F+S decided to build a drying plant in Gransee. A total of €25m was invested and the result is an absolute state-of-the-art milk drying facility....

Absatz von Mineral- und Heilwasser im Aufwärtstrend

Bonn. Der Absatz von Mineral- und Heilwässern sowie Mineralbrunnen-Erfrischungsgetränken ist gegenüber dem Vorjahr leicht gestiegen. Das gab der Verband Deutscher Mineralbrunnen (VDM) nach vorläufiger Hochrechnung bekannt.

Usedom. Die Seetel-Hotelgruppe bietet in ihren 15 Betrieben auf der Sonneninsel Usedom auch in diesem Jahr wieder begehrte Ausbildungsplätze in den gastronomischen Berufen an. Gesucht werden junge Menschen für die qualifizierte Ausbildung zu Hotelkaufleuten, Restaurantfachleuten und Köch(inn)en, darüber hinaus zum Bürokaufmann/frau oder Brauer/Mälzer.
